Individuals holding a PhD (from any accredited institution, including the EGS) may pursue postdoctoral research in the PACT Division for a period of one or two years. They may attend one full PACT session in each year of their postdoctoral study, and will receive mentoring support during this period.
The intended duration of the post-doctoral study should be indicated clearly in the application, which will contain an outline of a proposed project. This project should be of a size commensurate with the proposed period of study. The EGS will make a contribution of $500 to housing costs in each year to support this ongoing study.
This study will involve participation in one PACT session in Saas-Fee or Malta (six seminars) for each year of the post-doctoral study undertaken.
The academic experience at The European Graduate School / EGS revolves around its annual sessions in Saas-Fee, Switzerland, and Valletta, Malta. Led by our eminent faculty in residence, students attend a set of intensive seminar programs, workshops, and evening lectures over the course of the session. This dynamic structure provides students and faculty with an intimate forum for critical and creative discovery.
The European Graduate School / EGS degree programs are now accepting applications. Interested students are invited to submit an online application for admission. Due to high demand for places, students are strongly advised to apply well before the deadlines.
