Shelley Jackson, MFA (Brown University), is a San Francisco a writer and artist known for the hypertext Patchwork Girl, a post-feminist rewriting of Shelley's Frankenstein. Electronic Literature Award 2001. She also illustrates children's books. Author of The Anatomy of Melancholy (2002).
