Elizabeth Rottenberg

Biography

Elizabeth Rottenberg is Professor of Philosophy at DePaul University and a practicing analyst in Chicago. She has translated and edited books by Maurice Blanchot, Jacques Derrida, and Jean-François Lyotard. She is a founding member of the Derrida Seminars Translation Workshop and part of the “Bibliothèque Derrida” editorial team at the Éditions du Seuil. Her most recent books are For the Love of Psychoanalysis: The Play of Chance in Freud and Derrida (Fordham 2019) and Derrida en jeu (PUM 2023).
