Certificate of Study (not available in 2022)

Qualified individuals have the opportunity of attending an EGS session without studying for an advanced degree. These non-matriculated participants will attend the equivalent of a full PACT session in Saas Fee or Malta (6 seminars). The only requirements are attendance and the submission of brief response papers for each seminar.* The Certificate of Study is not accredited by an official body and not referenced to a qualification framework such as the EQF.

Admission Requirements

Applications to pursue a Certificate of Study should be made through the normal application portal, even though this certificate is not a degree program. The admission requires the equivalent of a BA degree.

*Please note that this opportunity is available during our 2021 sessions for students who wish to participate as full members of EGS courses (together with matriculated students).  Students who undertake Certificates of Study sometimes transfer into a degree program, and this is possible by reason of the fact that students must apply to the PACT Division of the EGS to pursue a Certificate of Study. Such a transfer requires formal to the Dean of the PACT Division.
The online platform created for the 2021 meetings also allows us to offer a “Certificate of Online Study” for individuals who complete four courses as auditors.   The only requirement is attendance. This opportunity affords a very considerable discount and is open to the public (individuals need only register: there is no application process). You may register for this Certificate of Online Study here.
Like The Certificate of Study, Certificate of Online Study is not accredited by an official body and not referenced to a qualification framework such as the EQF.
A certificate is normally earned in the course of a year. But it is possible to receive a certificate of study for participation over a two year period.  In this case, the student will attend more than one session and complete a total of six seminars.
