Attestation of Study

It is possible to study at the European Graduate School without pursuing a degree (ie., matriculating).  This can be done via auditing--online or in-person--or through a more formal arrangement where students complete the normal requirements for receiving course credit.

Admission Requirements

In past years, the PACT Division employed the term “certificates” rather than “attestations,” offering a “Certificate of Study” as well as a “Certificate of Post-Doctoral Study.”  However, the MFHEA does not permit the use of the term “certificate” because it suggests that the program in question has been accreditated (which is in fact only the case with our MA and PhD programs).  We do not have an accredited “certificate” program.  We therefore use the term “attestation” in providing evidence of the work accomplished in a non-matriculated capacity..  We are prepared to attest by letter to study in our courses for any number of seminars completed.

Known as the “Pearl of the Alps,” Saas-Fee is located near the Matterhorn of Wallis (Valais). Surrounded by thirteen mountains, it is the main village in the Saastal or the Saas Valley and a municipality in the district of Visp within the canton of Wallis (Valais) in Switzerland. Its location close to the glaciers of the Dom and the Allalinhorn, along with its neighboring mountain peaks, such as the Weissmies, the Nadelhorn, and the Lenzspitze, have made Saas-Fee an attractive destination in the Swiss Alps with recreational opportunities throughout the year including skiing, caving, snowshoe trekking, mountain climbing, canyon climbing, and ice climbing.
