Isabelle Alfandary is professor of American literature and critical theory at Sorbonne Nouvelle University, philosopher and psychoanalyst. She was the former President of Collège international de philosophie (2016-2019). Her research is at the intersection of philosophy psychoanalysis and literature. She is the author of numerous articles and several monographs. One is on Derrida-Lacan: L’écriture entre psychanalyse et déconstruction, Hermann, 2016. The latest, published in 2021, is entitled : Science et fiction chez Freud. Quelle épistémomogie pour la psychanalyse ? (Ithaque, 2021). It has been translated into Portuguese (Brazil) and Spanish (Argentina).
